Training and Support Programme for Professionals
This programme has been specifically designed for workers who wish to explore the dynamics of Domestic Abuse and develop their skills and knowledge of the impact of Domestic Abuse in order to enhance the services they offer families.
The aim of the programme is to build capacity within frontline services to address the needs and safety of families experiencing Domestic Abuse. With the aim of enabling families to engage further with service providers, and build a safer future for all.
Training Offered
SixtyEightyThirty will design bespoke training packages to ensure service providers and frontline workers are able to build on their existing knowledge and skills. Each learner will complete a learning styles questionnaire enabling the trainers to provide individually tailored sessions that are accessible for all.
Topics include;

| * | Domestic Abuse and the link to apparent mental health problems |
| * | Confidentiality, boundaries and safety issues |
| * | Stages of Change Theory and Practice |
| * | Safe intervention and basic risk assessment |
| * | Pathways for referral to specialist services |
| * | Tasters of the 'Freedom Programme', 'Basic Self Esteem Awareness Course', 'The Recovery Toolkit Programme and 'Wrap' |
Support offered
Inline with the organisation's ethos we are committed to supporting other organisations, private companies and service providers with advice and guidance when they are offering support to families at risk.
The support we offer include:
Consultation to design domestic abuse policy and procedures.
Presentations and informal staff talks in order to update staff of current Domestic Abuse procedures and safe referral pathways.
Telephone advice for staff who are working with women at risk of Domestic Abuse.

Lunch Time Learning at SixtyEightyThirty
For anyone working with victims of domestic abuse we are running a new concept in learning about the dynamics of domestic abuse.
Bring your sandwich and SixtyEightyThirty will provide the tea and coffee. Each event will include constructive discussion for an hour about one of the topics listed below:
